Save Our Jump Park!

 
The Saint Joseph Trail Alliance and Nomad Trails Development are collaborating to create a plan to revive the much-loved Ride It Like You Stole It (RILYSI) dirt jump park. The park is currently in disrepair and facing issues with water and vegetation. The proposed redesign aims to cater to riders of all skill levels. The plan includes a beginner flow trail, small, medium, and large tabletop jumps, medium and large gaps, and a small pump track.
As part of the construction, the park will install drainage lines to capture water from the street and divert it from the jumps and existing singletrack. Additionally, the outer portion of the existing singletrack will be rerouted further up the hill and out of the middle of the jump area.

  • All dirt construction

  • 1.5 days to build ($3000)

Jump Line 2 (Light Blue)

  • Beginner to intermediate jump line with small tabletops

  • All dirt construction

  • 1.0 day to build ($2000)

Jump Line 3 (Teal)

  • Intermediate jump line with four (4) medium-sized table tops

  • 1.0 day to build ($12000)

Jump Line 4 (Blue)

  • Intermediate to expert jump line with three (3) big table tops

  • 1.5 days to build ($10500)

Jump Line 5 (Purple)

  • Expert level jump line with three (3) jumps featuring medium gaps

  • 1.5 days to build ($13000)

Jump Line 6 (Red)

  • Expert level jump line with three (3) jumps featuring big gaps

  • 2.0 days to build ($11500)

Small pumptrack (round orange blob)

  • 1.5 days to build ($3000)

Total cost including labor, dirt work and jump fabrication: $55000.
